Abby's new mini team arrives at the ALDC LA and tensions are high. Distracted by new moms, new dancers and her continuing legal troubles, Abby is hanging on by a thread, and everyone knows it. Meanwhile, Ashlee and Brynn are caught in Jill's crosshairs as Kendall's position on the Junior Competition team is threatened.
It's a full house at the ALDC and the minis are set to compete with their first group dance. Maddie is back and books a prestigious photo shoot with two other ALDC girls. Meanwhile, Maddie and Brynn compete head to head with solo routines. With Maddie's busy schedule, Ashlee sees this as the opportunity for Brynn to steal the title of Abby's #1 dancer. Later, the chaos in the studio proves too much for Abby to handle and she makes a huge announcement that could tear the team apart.
After resigning the previous week, Abby locks the team out of her LA studio. Debbie Allen extends an invitation to the ALDC to work with her, proving that everyone is replaceable including Abby. Special guest choreographer Nakul includes the minis in a difficult Bollywood routine. Kalani and Nia are pushed to their breaking point with an inspired duet while mini Peyton and her mom Kerri struggle with the pressure of two dances. With no leader, the moms fear a disaster is inevitable.
Abby is back but her focus is only on the minis. With only four girls on the unofficial mini team, a new mini and her mother show up to audition and they rub Melissa the wrong way. With the original junior team only competing in one routine, the moms complain when "Maddie's replacement" Brynn is chosen to dance the lead role. With Maddie set to return for good next week, Brynn's future at the ALDC depends on a win.
Maddie is nominated for a People's Choice Award and the media is abuzz with rumors that she is leaving the ALDC. The moms are furious when Abby invites an unexpected guest as her date to the People's Choice and the biggest moment of Maddie's professional career. The minis are back, along with a new mom whose daughter's attitude causes a dance catastrophe.
Maddie and Brynn have solos this week and the moms are not happy when Abby assigns Brynn a dance inspired by an old Maddie routine. To add fuel to the fire, the mini team is back! The two teams rival for Abby's attention, causing their relationship to take a drastic turn for the worst.
It's one of the saddest weeks in ALDC history as Maddie and Mackenzie participate in their final competition with the team. The two sisters both have solos, but when Abby pits Mackenzie up against a new mini, Ari, it's clear that Abby is more concerned about her future than her past. The moms encourage Melissa to reason with Abby, since this is her last week, but she avoids the confrontation and takes her frustration out on the wrong person, ending her time with the ALDC like she never would have imagined.
Jai Rodriguez hosts a Dance Moms reunion, following Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie's last performance with the team. The dramatic events of the latest season will be rehashed and the moms will get to speak their minds. We'll also hear from the mini moms on the future of the ALDC. Then, the junior elite team will perform and Abby and the moms will have their last chance to air any grievances with Melissa before they bid her a final goodbye.
The minis are back for the first time this season and the elites question if Abby can hold true to her promise of new beginnings. Abby challenges the minis with a beauty pageant themed dance where she will crown one mini queen of the routine. The elites perform a tribute to Prince but feel the pressure to do him justice and fear they will fail to win with another tribute dance. To add to the chaos, Abby assigns two duets: JoJo and Brynn vs. Kendall and Nia. When Nia falls ill, Kendall is once again left without a partner.
Abby challenges the minis with their first lyrical routine. The elites are put to the test when their moms make a shocking decision that leaves them without a group dance for competition. Tensions between the teams get physical and the moms give Abby an ultimatum.
After last week's fight between the elite and the mini moms, Abby attempts to unify the two teams by assigning the elites and minis duets as partners. With Abby's continued favoritism toward the minis, the elites are once again forced to choreograph their own group dance. Both teams feel the pressure when Abby announces that the first solo of the season will be awarded to a dancer from the winning duet.
Abby punishes the minis for their poor performance and awards the elites their first solos of the season. Jill infuriates Abby when she makes a major decision about Kendall's music. No one feels safe when the media uncovers secrets from a mom's past.
When tragic news from Kira and Kalani's hometown hits the ALDC, Abby choreographs one of her most emotional dances ever to help bring awareness to teen suicide. The minis try to make a comeback with their group number after being benched last week. JoJo and Kendall are assigned a difficult ballet duet that tests JoJo beyond her limits, leading to the most dramatic turn of the season.
Abby goes on the warpath after her trial hits the news again and a call from Debbie Allen has the moms speculating about the ALDC's future. Brynn is put to the test with her first solo of the season and the elites are tasked with one of their most challenging dances ever. However, the little bit of attention that Abby can muster goes to the minis.
Fed up with the ALDC, the elites leave for rival Erin Babbs, blindsiding Abby and the mini team. Abby puts more pressure than ever on the minis in an attempt to defend her kingdom and gives three mini dancers their first solos. Innovative, new choreography challenges the elites, and Kendall and Nia are invited to perform live with a recording artist beloved by ALDC fans.
Tension and animosity is at an all-time high as the elite team faces Abby and her mini team at the first competition ever where Abby is not on the same side as the elites. The elite girls stop at nothing to prove that they can win without Abby as their dance teacher, while Abby tries her best to stay strong and prove her worth on the dance floor with her mini team.
A Big McIntosh mini-figure toy has been released individually with a collector card in the third wave of mystery packs and bundled with Granny Smith and Applejack mini-figures in the Miniature Collection's Apple Family Set.[7] The general European and Italian-specific mystery packs spell his name as "BIG MACINTOSH", and the general European mystery packs, released in January 2012, state that he "is very gentle" (the French translation mistakes him for a female, though), while the American mystery packs, released in July 2012, spell his name as "BIG MCINTOSH" with a trademark symbol and state that he "is very gentle and wise".[8] The Miniature Collection sets released in July 2012 spell his name as "Big McIntosh" with a trademark symbol.
A second mini-figure toy and collector card pair of him is included in the eighth wave of mystery packs,[9] which spell his name as "BIG MCINTOSH" in both the American and general European versions,[10] again with a trademark symbol in the American version.[11]
A mini-figure toy and collector card pair of him is also included in the ninth wave of mystery packs, which again spell his name as "BIG MCINTOSH" in both the American and general European versions,[12] still with a trademark symbol in the American version.[13][14] A UK box for this wave misidentifies him as Rainbow Dash.
Cameron is relishing his role as interim music director at Luke and Manny's school, and he's taking on the upcoming spring musical performance with a little too much zest and fervor. Meanwhile, Jay's brother, Donnie, is in town for a visit, and their relentless brotherly ribbing goes a little too far; and Phil convinces the family to be in his new realty ad, but when he goes as far as to wrap the family minivan in the ad, the results are unexpected.
Gloria's mom, Pilar, and sister Sonia have made the voyage from Colombia, and they come bearing traditions, baby names and a whole lot of family baggage. Meanwhile, no one seems to have confidence that Phil will be able to help with the kids' problems, but there just might be a method to his madness. And Lily has picked up some bad habits, so Mitchell and Cameron try their hardest to mind their Ps and Qs to set a good example for her.
The Season 6 finale of Dance Moms is an episode that will be remembered for a long time. For the first time ever, Abby and her mini team will be facing off against the elite team in a competition. The stakes are high and the tension is palpable. Both teams must strive to prove their worth and show the judges what they can do without Abby's direction.
The mini team will be under a great deal of pressure as they must show their worth and prove that they can be successful without Abby's help. The elite team will also have to work hard as they have to demonstrate that they can still win without Abby. It's a challenge for both teams and the outcome will decide which team is the best of the best. However, it's not just about the competition; it's also about showing the judges that these dancers have the potential to be stars.
